The Brief

Our second year providing technical production management for Light Up Leicester saw us overseeing the installation of 11 vibrant, light artworks across the city centre, working with artists such as Atelier Sisu, Collectif Scale and Glow Art Creations.

We also provided technical support for multiple events running each evening from Holi festival celebrations to parading, light up LED inflatable horses.

With each installation comes weeks of planning ensuring power, cabling, technical needs and health and safety elements are all considered and actioned. This fantastic and free event sees over 100,000 visitors coming through the city, making it a major cultural event for Leicester.

"We’ve found it really easy to work with LINDLEY:PRODUCTIONS, they are there whenever we needed support and have really taken the pressure off. Understanding and interpreting the technical language provided by the artist in order to ensure we have the technical needs and equipment necessary for showing work of this quality."
